FEB. 17, 2009 U.S. DIGITAL TELEVISION TRANSITION

2009 DTV Transition: What does it mean for me?

As of February 17, 2009, “over-the-air” television broadcasters in the United States only are required to make the transition to digital signals. What does that mean for you?

Absolutely nothing.

This change will not impact CRRS TV or its customers in any way - you will still receive the same great quality television programming and no additional equipment is required.

In the United States only, TV sets connected to an over-the-air antenna - that is not connected to a cable or satellite provider - will need a converter box to continue to receive television signals after the digital transition.

As a cable provider, CRRS TV has already implemented the technology to handle all-digital television and this process will be complete by February 1st 2009. This will provide our Digital TV subscribers with the best possible all-digital television experience; however, we will still offer our analog (basic) cable TV service. These changes will not be mandatory in Canada until August 31, 2011. CRRS TV anticipates it will be in complaince and providing fully digital services well before this date.

Please sit back and continue to enjoy the exceptional entertainment experience you've come to expect from CRRS TV. Over the coming months we hope to offer smaller, faster digital set-top boxes, additional standard- and high-definition channels, and an improved customer experience.

If you would like to enjoy the benefits of digital service now - try CRRS Digital TV today and access more channels, superior quality picture and sound, and other added services such as high-definition, Pay-Per-View and digital music.

Feel free to contact our office if you have any further questions about this change.
